Artist's Statement
I use paint to express my impression of
images I see in my mind and in the world.
Painting with only my fingers,
I follow the theories of my influences (Monet,
Kandinsky and Pollock) to give the viewer
more than just an image. I try to show
the image on many levels. I want the people
who look at my paintings to always discover
something new each time. Each piece truly
is a wo-di (Cherokee word for paint)
impression.
